Vital Villa is run within the Vital Football network and as such is very structured, with common tools and menus to the wider Vital Network.

The site has full match reports, message boards, stats and very powerful "Have your say" component and is very well supported.

News Reports
News items, Match previews, Match reports & Match stats are all covered and accessed under the "The Club Menu". All the news items are factual, to the point and always up to date with what is happening at Villa Park and the club.

The match reports are very good value and include player by player reports with a rating. As mentioned earlier in this review the site uses the "Have your say" component very effectively in every news article or forum. This means that Villa Fans can be assured of a factual, supporters view on any the news topics.

As with the writers from VillaTalk, the authors of the match reports are at the game, so supporters fans not based in the UK can get a supporters view on the match, which are far more passionate than those you see on BBC, Soccernet or Sky news.

Player Profiles
At the time of writing this article, I couldn't access the squad details from the Club menu. (Will update this, once I have been able to check it out.

Message Board (Forums)
There are 3 areas of discussion, 100% Football dedicated to Villa, The Open Terrace, which allows discussion between members who support different teams and an off topic for general discussion.

There is an overarching governance placed on the boards by Vital Fottball and the admins/mods run the boards with common sense and open policy.

I have been visiting many forums over the years and have to say that this is one the friendliest boards out there. The moderators and admins are all pro-active, joining in all the forums and polls and posting items suggested by the members.

In Summary
Excellent content, great use of the members views, very powerful "Have your Say" & "Poll" components. You can even suggest a front page poll or use it in the Forums.

Overall the site is easy to navigate, however it is governed by Vital Football and depending upon your view point the one template structure for all teams within the network is good thing or a bad thing. The advertisements come with the territory and is the only drawback.

Highly recommend that you visit Vital Villa and register while you are there, they are a great bunch. Vital Football publish the number of members by Team so the more the better, last time I looked Villa was in a close race for 3rd. with Arsenal behind Swansea & Spurs!
