Membership Registration

There are 2 forms of membership available at Villans Worldwide AVSC.

1. Fans Club Membership (FREE)
2. Supporters Club Membership (£5)
3. Supporters Club with Interactive (£20)

In all cases membership is done online through our registration process. As a registered supporters club with Aston Villa FC we are required to maintain a valid and current membership list.

NB.  Villans Worldwide is a registered Supporters Club not a “fan site” and as such we cater to genuine supporters that want to be a part of a club to meet fellow Villa supporters and support Aston Villa FC.   We would rather have a few good friends in our community, supporting the Villa and our club than thousands of so called fans masked by dummy names and email addresses, who simply want to voice opinions.

Our primary focus is our on-line community where fellow Villa supporters can meet and make genuine friends, to facillitate groups of supporters meeting at Villa Park & raise funds to support Aston Villa.  If you simply want to air your views and opinions then we suggest you join one of the many fan sites or message boards available.  We recommend Heroes & Villains, VillaTalk or Vital Villa if you want serious Villa fan forums. Please only read on if you are genuinely interested in our supporters club. 

To join all you have to do is register using the online registration process to be a part of our online community. We do have some criteria that need to be met before your registration application will be approved by our administration team including:

1. A valid email address
2. Your full Name
3. Your full postal address including State, Postcode & Country of residence

PPS If you are the first person from your location, you can start an unofficial social club if you so choose & we will add your details to our contacts list as the contact for that area.

Fans Club Membership (FREE)

The Villa Friends membership is free and if successfully registered you will have access to the following benefits:

1. access to all the Supporters Club News sections.
2. full access to the message boards and supporters club forums.
3. details of any club meetings and promotions from all social clubs within the Villans Worldwide network.
4. access to our eNews email newsletter.
5. voting rights in our online polls.
6. ability to order reserved match tickets.

Fans Club Membership (£5.00)

The Fans Club membership costs £5 per household per season, includes all the Fans Club Membership benefits as well as the following additional items:

• access rights to contribute authored content
• ability to author content & news articles
• reserved match ticket bookings with a choice of Villa Park Tour or Holte Hotel invitation and Old Star events when travelling with the Villans Worldwide Group.

To sign up for this membership please register as a Villa Friend first, then signup to this membership.

The money from this fee goes towards supporting the running of the club including, web host costs and proportionately towards purchases of Villa merchandise for use by Villans Worldwide in our competitions.  All remaining monies is put into the supporters stash to raise funds for sponsoring a Villa Player or the Villa Youth Team.

NB Mailing list registration is free and included when you register.

Supporters Club Membership £20 per household

There is an opt in additional £15 Subscription that goes towards our tipping league & Villa Quiz for supporters to win money like in an office pool, so spread the word and join in the fun whilst at the same time supporting Aston Villa FC.

• access to the Villa Quiz (from time to time you can win prizes)
• entry into the Tipping (Prediction League)

To join the Tipping competition & Villa Quiz signup with the £20 Subscription which includes the £5 Supporters Club membership.

Why PAY a Membership Fee?

Whilst we are volunteers we are working with Villa marketing in an effort to support Aston Villa Football Club and at the same time give something back to the supporters.  Our interactive points of interest are a means of supporters signing up to specific items on the site such as the Villa Quiz, providing a mechanism for the supporter to win items, such as signed autographs, shirts etc. whilst at the same time supporting the club.  The ultimate goal is to send a Villa Supporter to Villa Park for an all expenses paid trip.

If you were in Birmingham or England, you would spend money going to a game through ticket and program purchases.  Overseas supporters can still support the club through other ways and at Villans Worldwide we want to support Aston Villa Football Club because we are passionate supporters.

We understand that for a supporter living overseas it costs more to see one match at Villa Park than it costs a local brummie for a season ticket!

We are always looking for ways for a higher percentage of that money going to Aston Villa and putting proposals forward to Villa marketing to assist us, such as doing deals on weekend packages with local hotels and merchandising options.
One of our goals is to sponsor the Aston Villa Youth Team, through our membership offers.  Yes together with true supporters we can get there.
