The Team is a group of volunteers, YES volunteers! 

As mentioned in the about us section, Villans Worldwide has been established to provide a support network for supporters primarily based outside of the UK or living away from Villa Park.

To be succesful Villans Worldwide needs to be a team effort and managed in a collaborative way

This site is not for the promotion of self interest or glory hunters! It is for passionate supporters that know Aston Villa the club is bigger than any individual and we are here to make sure that it's traditions continue to flourish.

If you feel that you would like to take on some resposibility and be a part of the team, then let us know, because all valid contributions help.

There are a number of areas where we are always looking for help as we are all volunteers (we do it because we love the Villa). Any of the following (except where it states being mandatory):

• A totally passionate Villa fan - (Mandatory)
• Know a thing or two about Joomla would help
• Understand what it takes to be a moderator on message boards
• be prepared to spend a few hours a week on the Forums
• Write a few articles
• assist with module & web design development

Obviously the longer you are around the higher your administrator rights become. Nothing can beat loyalty and sticking to something. The more you help the more you have the right to be an administrator. Simple really.

The truth is that whilst the idea was founded, it will take a group of people from around the world to keep it going and make it bigger and better, much like the concept of Open Source.
